"Saint-Lary is a wonderful location, a lively vibrant town set in the picturesque Pyrenees mountains. Truly stunning! The residence is dated slightly and so could benefit from a bit of a refresh, and the staff were a little "cold" in terms of service but professional and helpful enough; although the reception hours were limited."

"it was a beautiful setting on the lake and surrounded by mountains. However, This was quite an unusual lodging. There was no reception and only my name on a board to tell me which apartment I was in. The room had a well stocked kitchen but had no bedding. "These are typical French apartments, not particularly spacious, but nice and generally functional. It is a fair walk into town - a good 10 - 15 mins. Our apartment was next to the road which although not busy could mean that there was quite a lot of noise at certain times of the day. However the countryside around is fantastic, loads of amazing walks and a great range of activities to keep families occupied, although they are not cheap. "We booked this very expensive over rated appartement hôtel for our 4 nights stay as a family. They only provided 2 bath sheets even though there was 4 of us, I asked for more and was told it would be 6 euros per towel. I could buy towels for that prices and keep them! The bathroom had a terrible sewage smell that wouldn’t go away. Glad we only went back to sleep. Kids refused to use it and brushed their teeth in the kitchen. That flat should have never been rented out. Will never stay there...

"The cottage was lovely and exceeded our expectations. There are lots of beautiful trails for hiking and running close by and you can get local produce in the area. Host and hostess were super welcoming and accommodating, answered any questions and helped when needed!! Would recommend anyone to stay here."

"Great location, a block away from Lourdes Basilica. We stayed overnight and the room with a loft was comfy for 5 people. Would stay here again. "

"I believe this is the oldest hotel in Lourdes. The owners have done an incredible job of renovation. The attention to every detail from comfortable beds, beautiful bedding, amenities in the bathroom, a fantasticily gorgeous indoor, swimming, pool, and hot tub outside. The staff is obviously hand-picked for professionalism, extreme kindness cheerfulness. I especially like the evening checks to make sure everything is OK and if more towels or anything is needed in the room. Such a feeling of being cared for welcomed, and a feeling to be at home. An easy location walking to the grotto, as well as to shops and other features in the town of Lourdes, I highly recommend this for a beautiful respite while in Lourdes. Also dining at the restaurant, the food was phenomenal, extreme attention to detail in the preparation, quality and presentation of the meal. A gorgeous breakfast as well."
