"Hotel was decent. Food was great. Rooms have two bathrooms, but are pretty basic with small beds and small TV's. Nice pool area, pretty nice beach. Kinda set away from everything."

"Avoid at all costs. A total mush. Photos and description have nothing to do with the reality. It is supposed to be the grimiest, most run-down dormitory-like hostel on this beautiful island. 4-story blocks, elevator IS out of operation, built at a very high elevation and has a very steep, quarter mile road and heaps stairs. No porter, no staff. At 3PM room not ready. When noticing cleaning women, her stuff and what room she is cleaning for us, we got shocked. Pond of Clorox, moulds in shower....

"Hotel was ok. Service needed to elaborate on questions. Morn very helpful because of language barrier. Once off property it was easier to relate to locals. As English speaking - very isolated. Nothing for us, all French. Tours person totally dissed us. Treated as outsiders. Nothing in English. Nothing,not even menus or tours or evening events."

"The description is over exaggerated. The place is clean but old. Towels were old. Breakfast was good. If you are looking for a cheap stay then this place is for you. I would rather pay a few more $. There's not much in the area other than by the marina, approximately 10 minutes walk from the hotel."

Friendly, helpful staff.

"Dominique and the rest of the staff are very helpful and friendly. Dominique does speak English Although she may encourage you to try speaking french.You are located just steps from your choice of beaches.There are many restaurants in the area that are a 3 to 15 minute wallk.You can grab ice cream, panninis or waffles from a vendor directly across from the hotel.Having the small kitchenette makes it even better as you can choose to make your own meals as well.The town of Sainte Luce offers most things that you will need for your stay. It's a great location and I would recommend staying here."
