As wine professionals, we wanted to taste some tank samples of unfinished wine in the bar. The staff wanted to charge us €15 corkage per bottle, even though we were not going to drink these wines. We would have bought a bottle to drink after the professional tasting. Having stayed here for so many years, I was really disappointed with the reception."

"A very pleasant hotel run by friendly staff. It is conveniently located across the road from Bourges railway station and about 10-15 minutes walk up to the pretty historic centre. The room is spacious, except for a very small bathroom. Definitely a reasonable base for a visit to this lovely French city. "

"Nice hotel, great staff, clean and comfortable. Large bathroom and I noticed as we left they were installing overhead rain showers. The only slight thing was we arrived on Sunday and the hotel restaurant was closed as was most restaurants. But we ate at a restaurant called the metro around 20 minutes walk away which was fine."
