"It was a traditional french cottage and was a little basic and lighting was a bit poor at night. But as the weather was good we were outside a lot with the dog and the garden is great. Everything worked in the house but internet reception is quite poor unless you go to the garage.Had not realised we would be opposite other guests in a bigger place but that was no problem and made it interesting. "The swimming pool is the centre piece of this complex, it’s even better than it looks in the photos. We often had the pool to ourselves. The pool has a security code on the door making it very safe with children. Our gite had a lovely terrace and also a small garden which the children enjoyed. "The cottage is extremely well equipped, cosy and comfortable with a wonderful welcome pack on arrival. The grounds are superbly maintained with plenty of different seating areas in order to make the most of the weather. It has the best of both worlds, being in a quiet rural location but an easy drive to the beautiful beaches and coast line.
