Idyllic Setting
This property lived up to our expectations. it is a quirky yet comfortable place to stay. My husband and I spent a month their at the beginning of Autumn, and were joined by friends for the middle 2 weeks. The house is a short drive from Olargues which has a great boulangerie, a small supermarket and a couple of very good restaurants. Its great base to explore the area and there excellent walking opportunities to suit all levels.
Our host was extremely helpful with advice about the area before our stay and very supportive during our stay sorting out technical some technical problems we encountered.
As explained in the description of the property, parking is in communal area (it is a medieval hamlet) and we were prepared for the walk up and down to the car park, which, as our stay went on became easier, or maybe i just got fitter.
Two pieces of advice for future visitors.
1) As we were staying September/October we hadn't anticipated the warm weather and the mosquitos, neither of which can be controlled by the host, so pack appropriate repellents.
2)The property is in a "dark skies" area and I would encourage visitors to keep an eye on the weather and moon phases then set your alarm for about 2:30 am! to look up at the night sky, its amazing.
