"Lovely old house with some charming foibles and eccentricities. Even developed a soft spot for the robot lawn mower. Great space, 4 bathrooms (2 ensuite), well equipped kitchen (always great to have basics there - salt, oil, herbs etc), great table tennis room, big garden to kick rugby ball. Outdoor bbq plate. "We only stayed one night. Very helpful and friendly staff. Comfortable and quiet. A self-service laundry is available on the ground floor. We were surprised to find that the machines (one washer, one dryer) were controlled by a smartphone app. It actually worked quite well, notifying us when the load was done. "

Once we received our entry code, understood parking, and realized we had to push REALLY hard to open the room door after entering code (I felt like I was breaking in), it is truly a lovely space. Be prepared to walk up additional stairs if on 3rd level, as the lift only serves to 2nd floor.
