Inside the house is beautifully maintained with fixtures and fittings in line with the grandeur this property deserves. We could not have asked for a better place to celebrate our friends...

The town of Grandcourt has only a bar - no bakery or restaurant, and the closest grocery is about 5 KM away, so we had to drive for everything. I had hoped it would be a good base for WWI touring (and had even specifically inquired about that) but all the real WWI sites were at least a 1-2 hour drive away.
