"We stayed here for two weeks and had a wonderful time. The property had all that we needed and was perfectly located for quick nips to the local beach, just a smal drive from the Normandy beaches and Bayeaux and plenty of beautiful scenery. The house was peaceful and spacious with a great garden for the children to play in. Many evenings spent in the garden with a glass of wine! Thanks"

"A tidy modern house in a quiet village, overlooking a wild area with birds, owls, mammals and reeds. Enough services in the village such as boulangerie, bar and charcuterie to keep you going. 2 mins to a lovely beach with miles of walking. Would recommend if you are looking to explore the area."

"Second time we've stayed here with our teenagers and dogs. Great accommodation and location, good sized garden for dogs and football. Comfortable and clean,nothing fancy which is exactly what we need. Location just few mins from the beach is great. Also excellent location for loads of day trips and for D Day beaches. Recommended. "The property is well located in St Vaast La Hougue. Older property that is well loved. Gorgeous backyard and garden that is inviting to stay and relax. Walk into town to a fantastic bakery, restaurants and shops. We really enjoyed out stay there. Jaques and Marie are wonderfully responsive hosts."

"Nadine me us on arrival. She speaks only French, we speak only English. However, with the use of a translation app on her phone we managed. She provided a thorough explanation of the features of the property. The property was spotlessly clean with a really well equipped kitchen. There is a beautifully landscaped garden and it is fully secure, important as we had two small children with us. There are many WW2 historical sites within easy reach, also true of beaches. "The property was beautiful, in a quiet area and it was peaceful. We were in Normandy for some of the D-Day celebrations and it was exactly what we needed. "The apartment is amazing and very well equipped for its size. The bathroom is modern and well fitted out with a great shower. The location is fantastic and very central, although the resort is busy so parking can be tricky. Some more advice on parking, and accessing the local sights, would have been helpful. The Saturday morning market is fantastic although they start setting up at 5.45am outside the property! The stairs are steep but this is mentioned in the property details. All in all a great...

"Our first impression was one of complete satisfaction. Well set up kitchen, comfortable lounge with lovely garden view. Spacious bedrooms at first floor level with comfortable beds and plenty of storage space. Compact bathroom with a good shower. NB. The shower head fixing needs attention.
