Motel Le Transit

2.0 star property
7.4 out of 10, Good, (626)
"This is not a fancy place but covers all the basics. Good price for a clean and comfortable place to sleep for the night. We had a bit of trouble getting the shower started - pull knob was stuck/stiff and the floor lamp would not turn on at first - was unplugged for some reason. We stored our travel companions milk in our fridge as theirs didn’t seem to be cold. Easy check in and out, even with communication barrier (we don’t speak French well). Friendly desk clerk. Good location, right off the...

Hotel L'Express

2.0 star property
5.6 out of 10, (704)
"This is a 2-star motel (albeit it says Hotel). Great for a pitstop (and lower cost). However, the rooms, despite being smoke free, due to the doors opening to the outside, it is clear alot of smoke comes back in rooms, or guests "smoke" in the doorway. In my case, there were still glasses of water with cigarette butts by the street door, that smelled - and only adds to the problem with wanting to air out your room. Attractive house in Ville-Marie

9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (43)
"The house is fine. The parking is super tight to get in and out of. It would have been nice to have a bar of soap available since I forgot mine. The metro is a short walk away through a somewhat sketchy neighborhood but I felt safe. The house street area is clean and well maintained. Neighbors are friendly giving us information about parking rules. "
