"We stayed for one night after a trip to the nearby Puy du Fou. We had an excellent, spacious room for our family of four, which was sparkling clean. The breakfast in the morning was delicious (especially the wide variety of homemade jams) and the garden of the property was a great advantage - beautifully quiet and plenty of room to burn some energy off for the children. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we would not hesitate to recommend the place. "

This place is working for me really good as is close to my work place, close to the shops, and for someone who like to explore is many interesting places around. "What a find. This is one of those properties you want to keep a secret, in case they are fully booked when you want to go again. The lovely hosts couldn’t have been more welcoming or accommodating. Lots of little personal touches, children’s games (that we played and had no children with us), lots of little seating areas in the secure and quiet garden. Parking is off-road and very secure. "Endroit très calme dans un cadre idyllique et bien situé pour la visite du Puy du Fou (à 1/2 heure de route). Les chambres sont spacieuses, bien équipées et très propres. "Our party of 12 of all ages had a great break in this fantastic property. The layout worked superbly for 4 different families yet allowed us to come together for large meals together. The secure pool area was especially good for the grandkids. The property is close enough to the beach yet set in quiet countryside, so there is something for everyone. Adequate hotel for 1 night

"Hotel is clean and bed is comfortble, if decor is slightly shabby. It is fine for an overnight stay when on a journey. Handy for Les Sables d'Olonne which is a nice port with good restaurants. We arrived late so the restaurant was closed but the hotel has a late check in which is useful."

"Our Host and Hostess were delightful. Our surroundings beautiful! Both the interior and exterior memorable! The yard and pool area landscaped beautifully. Breakfast, a selection of fresh fruits, fresh croissants, juice, yogurt, and coffee or tea. The views stunning! peaceful. My mattress dropped a bit from over use. We arrived in early Oct. so most business had shut down from the Fall. One restaurant was open for lunch and the castle wasn’t to open until Nov again. But lots of walking in nature opportunities! Yes, I am already planning my next visit back!"

"We stayed one night here prior to a visit to Puy du Fou. We had a family room for four people. It was fairly small, but had everything we needed and the space had been carefully designed with plenty of room for luggage etc. It was also nice and clean. The restaurant does excellent food in the evening (well worth visiting whether you are staying at the hotel or not) and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. "

Cheap and cheerful overnighter

"The hotel was convenient for the route we were on. The receptionist was friendly. The room was clean and tidy but minimalist. The room was small with bed against the wall so accessible from one side only. The bed itself was comfortable. Being convenient for the route it was also noisy all night if you are a light sleeper ear plugs would help. But it was cheap! "
