"We stayed here for two nights, the room and bathroom were superb, facilities were excellent and just a short drive to Cognac. Very quiet at night, we enjoyed a very good nights sleep. "Hard to find the first time, but ideally located overall. Towns and champagne tour route nearby. Our rooms were spacious, comfortable and quiet. We did not self-cater but with a boulangerie a short walk it would have been easy. Christine (the owner) could not have been more helpful, she was genuinely concerned about making sure everything was OK and you were having a good time - which I was! "Had a lovely time in your chateau, thanks very much. The house was really beautiful, loads of space and lots of quirky features like the piano, vintage bicycles and attic rooms. Lady next door selling local cognac was very friendly. At night the sky was so dark, excellent for stargazing. The river charente is lovely for swimming in. Super!"
