"Hotel was located close to shops, bars , restaurants & a few minutes from the waterfront. We only stayed 1 night so a brief stay. We booked a room with a water view, it really was a tiny view. Wouldn't pay extra tbh The room was funky & modern and the bathroom was almost like a glass/plastic cubicle with changing lights. "5 minute walk to centre of the city. Train station is very convenient to the hotel. Hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly and overall everything was 5 stars from me!"

"Old school and old building. Excellent location and views, spacious rooms, fine service. The amenities were ok. The main issue is smoking. A non smoking hotel that hands out matches in every room, what do you think it’s going to happen? If you’re a smoker it’s for you. For me it was always an exercise in opening the windows to get the smell out of the room and close them quickly when the suicidal monkey next door smoked in their balcony"
