"I have stayed at several houses in France over the last 10 years, ‘The Augmar ‘ is by far the nicest.. Situated in a most beautiful place, the house had everything needed for a comfortable stay, nicely furnished to a very high standard, just a short drive from Cherbourg which was so convenient, in fact my journey from my home to the house was just 1.5 hours driving, not including the very pleasant 4 hour crossing with Brittany Ferries. "Stayed here during the 75th anniversary of d-day. On arrival didn't know how to check in but was not a problem as owner lives next door. Great location to easily get to other places. Resident chickens in the garden made our stay welcoming and interesting. One day owner left us fresh eggs and on the last night of our stay left us a bottle of wine and biscuits. Would highly recommend staying here and would love to come back."
