"We had a very warm welcome from Marie and Claude who were happy to take time outlining what there was to see and do in the area - the markets, their recommended vineyards, and sites to visit. We had our motorbikes with us - there are many twisty routes to chose from, from hairpins to sweeping bends and all on the doorstep. The gite is tucked away from it all, up quite a steep gravel track (beware motorcyclists!) but the views are wonderful. Great indoor space and outside living area. Very well...

"Von hier kann man zu Wanderungen und Besichtigungen aufbrechen, sei es in die Schlucht der Ardeche oder zu Sehenswürdigkeiten wie Pont du Gard oder Orten wie Arles oder Orange. Sehr ruhig gelegen. Auch gut für Hunde geeignet, weil man kurze Spaziergänge direkt vom Haus aus machen kann. Nicht ganz so gut, Einkäufe können nicht zu Fuß gemacht werden, dafür braucht man das Auto. Und ein gewisser Punktabzug für den zweiten Schlaftrakt, da könnten ein paar Dinge verbessert werden. Die Vermieter waren...

A few updates probably required but otherwise a hugely enjoyable and memorable experience enjoyed by us all. "Swimming" in the outdoor pool every morning was a great way to wake up; lovely quiet lanes from the house allowing us to explore on bikes - Chateauneuf du Pape and Pont du Gard within round trip distance.
