"This was a lovely, peaceful property where we could unwind from our other travels. The little town was completely walkable and welcoming. The market is a "must" for anyone coming to this town. Patrick and Sabine were wonderful hosts. Would love to visit again and will recommend their hotel to others."

"Self check-in was seamless, free self public parking (3 mins walk) was very convenient and the location is in walking distance of all bars, restaurants and shops. Its location is above an Irish bar, so music and patrons can be heard until closing around 12:30pm but we only stayed one night (Friday) so it was expected but didn’t ruin our stay at all. Friendly staff and definitely recommend for a short stay."

"Accommodations were a good size for the cost. The arrangement of the toilet outside of the actual room was a little funky but that's okay. Natalie was the only one we had contact with was not well suited for dealing with people. When are traveling companion was injured on a step in the hotel Natalie was more concerned about telling her that she should have let her know that she was not going to dinner at the restaurant that Natalie made a reservation for her. "This is a renovated old building with eclectic decorations. The hotel was updated, but it almost felt like a 19th century guest house. The breakfast was delicious, and the courtyard where it was offered was wonderful. You can use it at other times to sit in the open air if you choose. "A truly beautiful place with beautiful hosts. Amazingly well and newly refubished Maison with beautiful rooms. Pierrick and Filipe are super welcoming and wonderful hosts. They helped guide us around the many Arts Exhibitions in Arles, booked us a wonderful restaurant. Not to forget the beautiful breakfast. If you are heading to Arles to enjoy and experience some photography, art or ancient ruins, enhance your experience by staying at Hotel de L'Anglais. It really made our stay. "

The accommodation was up a flight of steps, the place looked like a 1980 time share, just needed tlc, having said that, it had living room/kitchenette, separate bedroom and bathroom. The balcony overlooked the swimming pool and open area, and views of a golf course. Very quiet area. Bed was comfortable and clean, linen and towels were sufficient. No on-site restaurant or shop."

Parking is in the street paid but there is an option for €17 to park underground but this goes from 3 pm to 3 pm. The reception are extremely helpful. 1 elevator for 3 floors. Rooms are a large size with kitchenette. The bed in our room was a bit tired but still comfortable. Rooms are very clean and quiet at night. Tips for other travelers - there is no toaster...
