"We had a lovely getaway to White Walnut Estate. The setting was gorgeous, the apartment was beautiful and quiet, and of course the wine was delicious. We hope to make the visit a tradition. "

"This property was better than advertised, and I was sad to leave. It was like staying at a beloved grandparent's property, wth beautiful antique furniture and lovely glassware, but with great amenities. The bathrooms were well appointed, and the beds were comfy. The outdoor area was beautiful and peaceful as well. We didn't utilize the kitchen since we were in the area for a family wedding, but it appeared to be well furnished with everything you could possibly want or need to cook with."

"Everything about this cottage was arranged with thought and good taste, including simple decorations, furniture, and kitchen items. We instantly felt at home, except more relaxed, not being surrounded by our own chores and to-do lists! It was easy to walk to restaurants and shops by crossing the charming covered bridge. In the other direction I found the Art Center and a beautiful park, and a second footbridge to the Library and History Museum. Highlights of our trip were the Silverton Holiday...

"Beautiful setting surrounded by views of cedar trees and the river. Both the Goat House and the Zen Den were pleasing to the eye. Could have done without the construction and leaf blowers on the Monday morning of our stay. They were literally right in front of our windows for quite some time -- took away from the relaxation. Also, our bed sheets had stains on them, so that's icky, and there were somebody else's dirty socks under the bed. "

"Lovely views and decor! Charming blue house that features two full bedroom/bathroom sets and a pretty private garden. The traffic noises are pretty easy to tune out. Hilly neighborhood makes this house less walker-friendly, but these are nitpicks for an otherwise incredible find!"

"Every detail for this property was thought out and executed. What a gorgeous setting and incredible host! I travel for a living and this is one of the most impressive finds I have found. Do yourself a favor and give Aide the chance to make your getaway the memory of a lifetime! "

"The cottage is comfortable and cozy. The small space is well laid out and has what you need for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed the country setting, yet close to town. I found the bed to be comfortable, but may be too soft and not supportive for a heavier person. Kathryn was very responsive with communications, and we really appreciated the special baked treats. Definitely recommend. "

"We spent a long weekend in FG visiting our daughter who attends school in town. The Cottage was so perfect for our visit…clean, well equipped, comfortable & cozy. The location is so convenient - a short drive or a nice walk to campus & great restaurants. I highly recommend The Cottage."

"The view is beautiful! It's so relaxing to wake up and have a cup of coffee while taking in the river! The neighborhood was pretty and quiet. The dogs enjoyed morning and evening walks with lots to sniff!Our multigenerational family had a great visit and explored Portland and the area and got to come home to a comfy beautiful house!At night, the mattresses were super comfortable and everyone ages 11 to 72 had only good things to say about their sleep!"
