We chose to book this property for all the amenities included only to find a week before that we'd be charged extra for bedding and towels, the property owner then saying she doesn't use Vbro and advertises through someone else and advertises for the extras on their site. Not a ruined holiday but added another level of worry when we only discovered this the day before getting on a ferry"

"We loved staying in this older and totally renovated home near Amboise and Chateau Chenonceau. It is a lovely home that is part of a renovated compound surrounded by grape vinyeards near the adorable town of Franceuil. The house is perfect with 2 bedrooms upstairs and a lovely well-appointed and renoovated kitchen and living room complete with a small but upscale gas wall fireplace for colder nights. "Precious little farmhouse in a village not far from Blois. Marie-Claire and Marie-Claude were both very attentive and gracious hosts. Upkeep of the house could have been a little better but considering it is a 400+ year old house it was quite pleasant. It would be nice if the history of the house was posted somewhere. Would have loved to know how this house was used back in the day. Overall enjoyed our brief stay."

"What a great holiday we had at this lovely gîte. It is spacious and extremely well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The garden is lovely and has a plenty to keep everyone of all ages occupied, including table tennis, zip line, boules and the pool. A big attraction are the animals which you can help look after, a pony, goats and some chickens. A great find and we hope we can stay there again!"
