"We are a 4 generation family that stayed 5 days and had the most wonderful time. The house comfortably accommodated 14 of us ranging in age from 2 - 79 years. The views are amazing and there is a large yard with a trampoline and swing set that entertained our younger ones for many hours. The 2 kitchens are well equipped and it is a nice walk to the lovely village. I highly recommend this rental."

"Das Ferienhaus war genau richtig für uns. Es liegt 20 Gehminuten vom nächsten Dorf mit Bäckerei entfernt. Ansonsten Natur pur und nachts ein toller Sternenhimmel. Der Vermieter sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Er spricht auch englisch. "

"Vieux-Viel ist ein kleiner und sehr ruhiger Ort. Für uns war es als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die Region ideal (Mont St. Michel, Avranche, St. Malo, Cancale, etc...). Supermarkt und Tankstelle sind in weniger als 10 Minuten zu erreichen. Frisches Gebäck haben wir bei den Bäckern in Pontorson bekommen. Egal wo, die Leute waren immer super freundlich :-). "The only negative relating to this stay was the weather, and we don’t hold the VRBO manager responsible for that. And the weather could have been much worse. It was really just a little too cold for those of us from Hawaii. Hundreds, perhaps thousands, braved the cold to walk out to Mont St Michel, and there were people wading in the water to the side of the raised road and walkway. "The key code to check-in was incorrect. It took approx 3 hrs for the manager to respond to a call for help. The wireless password was also given incorrectly but we managed ourselves to sort this out. The property was much less clean than we would have desired and lots of minor issues such as broken lights were apparent. The outside seating was broken, filthy and unusable.
