"This is a wonderful place to stay, close to Orleans and within easy reach of both towns and countryside. The gîte was clean, very well equipped and the owner friendly, welcoming and helpful. The villagers were also friendly and forgiving of our French!! The swimming pool at the gîte was a high spot for us all and we swam every day. We would thoroughly recommend a stay here."

Le matelas est mou et effondré dans le centre. très difficile d'y dormir sans avoir le dos cassé. Pour moi, la proximité de la route où les voitures roulant à 90 km a été un problème. Cela gâche ce cadre champêtre."

"The purpose of our visit was to attend the Django Reinhardt Jazz Festival at Fontainebleau. Fontainebleau is an easy run from Poligny and definitely a place worth exploring. Beautiful countryside and a very relaxed atmosphere. The Gite was comfortable and we enjoyed meals outside in the courtyard under the beautiful ash tree. "Wow! Our group loved Helene’s place. The town is 1 hour train from Paris and you can get a taxi to the house although don’t rely on Uber/bolt. The pool area is wonderful and the grounds of the house have a lot to offer. The bedrooms are large and quite a lot of them have ensuites. The second house is attached to the main house and offers a quieter space for those that want it. The only issue our group found was some struggled to sleep because the house only has windows to cool down at night...
