Cottage was ideal for what we were looking for - self contained, quiet, private, secure parking and great base for cycling both sides of the Loire and very quiet back roads. Very large garden space front and back was a bonus. All made it an excellent weeks stay. "

"The house was a really special place to stay with beautiful rooms and fantastic facilities. Despite the cool, damp weather outside, the house was lovely and warm with easily controllable radiators - a really pleasant surprise in such an old building. "Well equipped beautiful cottage in the Loire countryside. Very Clean. Owners are very welcoming and friendly and have a vineyard 1/2 an hour away - worth the trip and the tasting. The house is close to Saumur which is lovely and has lots to see and do, including nice restaurants and is well located for visiting some famous historical sites like Chinon and Fontavraud Abbey. a very relaxing break."

"Nothing like the pictures when we booked. Very shabby accommodation. One indoor very crowded pool and No facilities on site, you have to go int Saumur which is a lovely city. You have to pay extra for bedding . Beds uncomfortable and furniture all very old. Definitely not worth the money. "
