"It's hard to do better than this outstanding and very private flat we made home for 10 days in the mountains around Ceret, France. It's views are unparalleled. One step outside the kitchen table puts you into dramatic sweeping views of the Pyrenees mountains, a distant coastal village and, on a clear day, the sea. The lovingly tended gardens only add to the beauty. The owner is a long time resident of the area. She generously provided suggestions and tips for local activities. The flat is extremely spacious, clean, well equipped and comes with its own garage space. We also loved the owner's artwork. We look forward to another stay. "

"This was a good place to stay overnight for a travel down to Spain. The property is dated but have no complaints as was only a rest stop. Very close to the Spanish border."

The kitchen is ample and well-stocked, and the pool area and two decks provide easy access to the outdoors--and beautiful views of the mountains. It's located very near the center of town within easy walking distance. We enjoyed our stay here and Peter was a responsive host. "

"We enjoyed a family holiday for 2 weeks in this beautiful rural property. Sylvain and Morgane were there to welcome us and show us around the house. They were so helpful and ready to answer any questions. We really appreciated their hard work. What a lovely couple! The house itself is clean and spacious. The kitchen is well stocked with everything one could need. Having an indoor fridge and an outside fridge in the outdoor kitchen was really useful with such a large group of us. The pool is a really good size for large groups too. There are plenty of sun loungers and chairs for at the pool. The hot tub was also well used by everyone despite the hot weather. The garden is beautiful with a lovely raised wooden walkway. PROS: Beautiful property in stunning setting, fantastic pool and entertainment area, well stocked kitchen, large dining area, peaceful surrounds. CONS: There were only 5 bedrooms, not 6 as described at the time that we booked. However the owner did open up his personal bedroom for our use, and the advert has since been revised. There is only A/C in 2 of the bedrooms. Because of the mosquitoes, we could not have any doors open at night, which made it very hot indeed with no A/C. The owner arrived with 4 guests during our stay and showed them around the house, including into one of the bedrooms. If we had been asked beforehand, we would probably have agreed to this (and tidied first), however we are not happy that this happened without our consent. "

"We had a wonderful holiday in this beautiful property. We are 6 adults and 4 children (2 grandparents, 4 parents and 4 children (aged 10, 10, 7 and 7). The house is situated up a hill in beautiful location with stunning views and we often watched amazing sunsets from one of the balconies. The outdoor spaces were ideal for us, with very good sitting and eating areas and loungers to sunbathe or relax in more shaded areas. The pool was a major centre of activity for us all. The salt water being very kind to the skin and adults and children having lots of fun in it every day. Table tennis was another hit with both children and adults. The house itself was exceptionally well equipped and had excellent cooking, eating and lounging areas. As a family we enjoy cooking and were very pleased to have such a well equipped and well laid out kitchen as well as outdoor cooking facilities. The Plancha was well used by us. The house has very nice grounds and has ready access to walks and bike trails out of the back garden gate. Mountain bikes were hired (we had good advice from Christine to arrange this ahead of time). There are a number of mountain bike trails some more severe than others. The trails just outside the back gate proved to be great for those of us who liked to run, walk and look at butterflies and birds.The house is nicely situated for trips to the seaside, the mountains and some lovely towns. I highly recommend this property. Our hosts were very welcoming and helpful. "
