"We stayed one night as it was close to the airport and we knew we’d be arriving in the dark. The hostess and her family were so lovely and welcoming. We arrived later than expected and though we had not reserved a dinner meal the hostess graciously made us some sandwiches. The breakfast was delicious. We would stay here again in a heart beat. This place is a gem."

"There was a mix-up about the room description, but the staff made it right. The restaurant bar staff were fun and attentive. Air-conditioning was truly a blessing! Balcony was a perfect view of the ocean and we got a bird's eye view of ocean wildlife coming ashore in the morning at breakfast. Room was clean and adapters were provided for electronic device usage and charging. I would definitely visit here again."

"J'ai séjourné 4 nuits dans cet hôtel. Peu avant mon arrivée, j'ai reçu un message me disant que j'avais été surclassée dans la chambre 212. Elle est plus spacieuse et plus lumineuse que celle initialement réservée. C'est un bel hôtel entouré de montagnes, au calme avec une belle piscine. Le petit déjeuner est préparé sur commande, il y a 6 options possibles et il coûte environ 16xcd. Chaque petit-déjeuner et diner que j'ai mangé au resto étaient très bons, les portions étaient également parfaites. Les locaux viennent y manger, donc c'est un gage de qualité. Toutes les personnes avec lesquelles j'ai parlées étaient gentilles et souriantes, prêtes à aider, à l'écoute. C'est le genre d'établissement qui offre un traitement personnalisé à chacun de ses clients, c'est exceptionnel. J'ai même eu le plaisir d'échanger avec la mère du propriétaire qui m'a raconté l'histoire de l'hôtel. Roseau est assez éloigné, mais il y a des bus qui passent à un gros croisement, plus bas. Ce qui rendrait l'hôtel encore mieux, ça serait qu'il y ait des frigos dans les chambres. Aussi, s'il y avait possibilité de payer tous les frais de restauration à la fin du séjour, ça serait bien mieux. Après mon check-out, on m'a contacté pour me faire part d'un dégât que j'aurai fait (bris au niveau du bureau). À cette date, je suis en attente d'un hypothétique devis pour les réparations à effectuer. "

"We enjoyed our three nights in Scott's head, using this property as our home base for our exploration of the southern top of the island. Microwave, fridge/freezer, gas stove and oven. The hot water in the shower worked great, which we learned is not always the case on the island. Tv, great Internet. Curtains are window sheets so be sure to bring an eye mask and ear plugs. Bedroom a/c worked great in both bedrooms. Be sure to get any and all necessities in Roseau before making your way south because shopping in the area is extremely limited. The water and power were intermittent during the daytime which wasn't a bother as we were gone exploring most of the time - and out of the owner's control. We have stayed in eco stays with a similar experience. There are multiple water faucets along the road on the shoreline that are drinking water for bottle refills if needed. We sat on the porch/balcony and enjoyed watching birds fly by. We love to snorkel and Scott's head was the best we experienced during our trip. Walk all the way down to the small sandy beach and get in. Jerry helped us get checked in and answered any immediate questions we had. We felt safe. The people are friendly. Plenty of bars and restaurants in the area. If we come back to Dominica we will rebook here in Scott's head. "

"Beautiful property. The host was friendly and accommodating. Great location for exploring some of the major sights in the area. A natural spring on site provided delicious drinking water. I had a family cabin with a kitchenette and washing machine. There were no screens in the doors/windows, but the beds had mosquito nets. I rented an AWD vehicle to get there. The location was well-signed and easy to find. Cold water only for the shower. The kitchenette was stocked with utensils. Note that there are many stairs to reach to cabins, so if you have trouble with stairs it may be difficult. "

"We had a lovely stay at Le Petit Paradis. The hospitality was truly excellent—Joan, Al, Yana, and Yani made us feel very welcome, and the location is perfect for accessing hot springs and nearby nature attractions. The food was delicious, and the peaceful, natural setting added so much to the experience. A couple of things to note: we encountered some issues with the water heater, which made showers a bit unpredictable at times. Also, the Wi-Fi was inconsistent during our stay. This led to an increased phone data bill since we had to rely on our service carrier more than expected. That said, the warmth of the hosts and the overall charm of the place still made it a memorable and enjoyable visit. We’d return again, especially if the technical kinks are smoothed out."

"Clean and comfortable, in a very convenient location. My room had a mini fridge and microwave, with dishes for easy eating in. Warm and friendly service, easy walking to town. Nice view of the river. I would stay at Narakiel's again!"
