This freshly renovated country house differs from all our other chalets. It is 100% suitable for people with reduced mobility.
The Cottage
This century-old country house was newly renovated and differs from all our other chalets. Although everyone can stay there, it is adapted so that people with reduced mobility can stay there independently.
This chalet is located directly next to our famous "Rustic", hence its name; The Lady next door. 50 minutes from Quebec, the chalet gives us direct access to the JCP Bike track in summer and to the federated snowmobile trail in winter. A short drive allows us to enjoy the many attractions of the region; beach, hiking, cross-country ski trails, family ski center, horseback riding and much more.
Housing
This country house built on two floors with 4 bedrooms can accommodate up to 8 people.
On the ground floor, we find an open area on the living room, the dining room and the kitchen. The wood-burning fireplace gives us a warm atmosphere with a sofa bed. The dining room can easily accommodate 8 people while the kitchen is fully equipped. We find a full bathroom with shower, a laundry room and a bedroom with a Queen bed.
Upstairs, three other bedrooms can accommodate 6 additional people, also equipped with a Queen bed. All in wood, the rooms give us a rustic and relaxing atmosphere. On this floor, we also find a small bathroom including a second toilet.
Outside, we find a covered patio as well as a terrace equipped with a fire place and a private spa. From inside and outside the chalet, we have a magnificent view of the fields and mountains. The sunsets are magnificent.
Adaptation for reduced mobility
The chalet is adapted to accommodate people with reduced mobility. Whether it is temporary such as a broken leg or for a more permanent situation, the chalet will meet everyone's needs. Here we find a barrier-free path from the entrance to the entire ground floor. The kitchen, dining room, living room, bathroom and bedroom are all designed to facilitate their use and movement. Lower switches, shower without threshold, grab bars, clearance under the sink, wider doors are just a few examples of suitable elements. We are very proud to be able to offer a chalet establishment adapted to a clientele that is too often forgotten.
