"The two of us had a delightful stay at Le Petite Vigne. We were cycling town to town and there was a place to secure our bikes which we appreciated. The house is lovely, old and full of character. We were greeted by the hostess Stephanie (and a cat named Bolo) after letting ourselves in the front. She is the nicest, sweetest lady we met on our entire trip! "Beautiful quiet location. We opted for the evening meal which was delicious, fish on a bed of Moroccan vegetables, three cheeses and lemon tart for dessert, all washed down with a very smooth red wine, bread and water also included, would definitely recommend. Bed was very comfortable. Room and bathroom both a good size. Shower was excellent. Breakfast was typically French and sustained us through. Would without a doubt return here if we are again in the region."

"We had a wonderful time at Les Closeaux! The kids played tennis and the pool was clean and warm. The area surrounding the gites was beautiful- we took several long walks. The meal we had in the restaurant was absolutely delicious! All five of us loved our meals! We also used the barbecue one night to cook out. The gite had everything we needed to prepare a meal. We had a great experience here!!"

"This place is a little gem, nested in the countryside with a fantastic vibe. The host is extremely kind and clearly made a great work with the place, the room was perfect for my family of 4 and we all loved the stay. The breakfast was definitely the best in our month-long vacation in France. When going again to the Loire valley, I'd definitely be coming back a La Source de Bury to use as a base to visit the many castles in the area."

"What an incredible coincidence! We stayed at this same hotel in the same room 8 years ago! Last time, the little bed in the corner wasn’t necessary for a couple, but this time we came with our 2 year old son who loved sleeping in his first real bed! The new indoor pool is a luxurious addition since our 2016 stay and this time we splurged for the in-room breakfast, which was so copious and delicious that we haven’t been hungry for the rest of the day! More than worth the additional charge! "

"Lovely place, and very nice owners. Great rooms and beds. The pool was fun, and the hot tub very nice. And the breakfast was fantastic. The only thing to be aware of is that if you don't have a car it's hard to get to (taxis are hard to come by in Amboise), and a decent walk from downtown Amboise."
