"we had an excellent week with Olivier and Nathalie who were friendly and understanding. the gite was the only one on the site and was connected to the hosts main house. we shared a pool with the hosts and were able to have swim every day. the gite was advertised for up to 5 persons but there was only two of us so loads of space. nice big rooms (for 2) and a decent fridge and freezer. great location for exploring Niort and La Rochelle plus the local area"

"The house is NOT appropriate for winter rental letting. The main room's only heating system is the old fashionned fire place. The house is not insulated at all. There are gaps around the doors which we tried to block with our sleeping bags; there was no functionning heaters in any of the bedrooms. The first two nights stay the thermometer registered 8 degrees! The manager, Wendy Williams, promptly brought extra wood and elelctrical heaters. Unfortunately, the heaters tripped the electrical...

"Magnifique weekend entre amis ! La maison est parfaite pour 14 personnes (couchages confortables, nombreuses salles de bains/toilettes, beaux espaces de vie, vaisselle, tables et chaises en quantité suffisante). C'est très propre et décoré avec goût, on s'y sent bien. Les extérieurs sont agréables, piscine chauffée et volet roulant facile à utiliser, 2 terrasses, la cour permet de stationner 3 voitures sans problème.
