"We had a wonderful stay at the gite for over 2 weeks. It was the perfect place to visit the ehole of west Normandy includung Bayeux. It is close to the sea and to the village of Urville, where the local supermarket Utile had everyting you need and has great opening hours. The gite itself is cosy and the fact that it is near the castke with great gardens is an absolute plus. Situated in a most beautiful place, the house had everything needed for a comfortable stay, nicely furnished to a very high standard, just a short drive from Cherbourg which was so convenient, in fact my journey from my home to the house was just 1.5 hours driving, not including the very pleasant 4 hour crossing with Brittany Ferries.
