Beautiful detached 2 bedroom farmhouse

A two bedroom detached farmhouse with kitchen, dining room, hall and separate lounge. The garden has a patio area and barbeque, a private above ground pool, trampoline and swing set.
Located in a quiet hamlet only 5 mins drive to the local boulangerie and a pizzeria restaurant at the campsite in the village.
Swimming lakes are approx. 15 mins drive and local town with restaurants, banks, tabac and shops and supermarkets 10km away.
Plenty of good walks and cycle routes to enjoy. There are some beautiful châteaux to visit and caves to explore as well as brocantes and vide greniers in the lovely villages surrounding the local area.

Country side retreat
Sometimes it really does pay off to go somewhere which is just a little further away from motorways, big cities etc. This house is truly relaxing and quiet. And yet, there are plenty of towns, markets, swimming lakes etc within a 10-15 kilometre distance. We travelled with our three kids and had such a great time - playing games, taking little trips to nearby swimming lakes, and barbecuing into the night. We felt like we had total privacy but yet the host couple were never far away if we needed them. Perfect. I think we’ll be back. Thanks, Nikolaj and family

Superbe endroit
Superbe endroit au calme a la campagne pour un séjour en famille inoubliable. Pleins d'activités à 30 min de route maximum, visite de chateau, grotte de villars, marchés de producteurs, balade à dos d'âne... La maison a tout d'un cocon où il fait bon se retrouver

Gite propre et calme idéal pour une famille. Par contre manque cruellement de réseau téléphonique ainsi que de wifi. Communication avec les gérants très compliquée car ils ne parlent pas français.

Très bon séjour
Le cadre est super joli et calme, l’accès à la piscine privée est un plus non négligeable et agréable,les hôtes sont accueillants, nous avons pu visiter pleins d’endroits magnifiques comme Thiviers est son grand marché le samedi, perigueux Brantome, St Jean de Cole et alentours… le seul point négatif malgré le soleil il n y’a pas de télévision branchée en direct ne serait ce que pour écouter les informations et la météo et se poser le soir, la connexion internet est très limitée. -Judy et David devraient investir dans une smart tv qui ne coûte pas chère ce qui permettrait d’avoir accès au programme Tv qui ne demande pas de branchement à l’antenne. Sinon je recommande pour des vacances reposantes et déconnexions totale avec la nature…. Merci à vous deux

Le gîte est situé dans un endroit agréable, la piscine et le jardin sont un plus. Le logement est fonctionnel malgré le peu de réseau et un téléviseur qui ne sert qu'à la lecture des DVD. une déception vite passée, même chez mes ados, grâce aux activités diversifiées à faire dans le coin : Saint Jean de Côle, le château de Jumilhac... pour des vacances en famille, idéal!

Jolie maison avec jardin agréable
La maison est joliment décorée. Les lits sont confortables. La maison est située dans un hameau calme. Le jardin est agréable. Judy et David sont très gentils et attentionnés. La maison est un peu humide et nous n avons pas eu de chance avec la météo, alors ils nous ont apporté des chauffages d appoint.

Tres jolie propriete dans le perigord vert. 1 chambre parentale et 1 chambre enfants. Piscine, transats, barbecue. Ma fille a egalement adoré nourrir les poules, et a profite du trampoline. A recomander sans hesiter vu la gentilesse de david et judy

New diamond in beautilful nature with wonderful hosts
We (two adults with 2 children: 14 and 6 years) stayed at this beautiful place for 5 days. When we arrived we found some welcome drinks in the fridge and also some fresh eggs from the chickens of the hosts. These hosts, David and Judy, live nearby and were extremely kind and flexible! They leave you completely on your own if you like but give you any support and valuable tipps if you need it. The house is a lovely home and we were the very first guests there. There are two bedrooms, a kitchen with everything needed, and a living room with TV & DVD. We started each day with a breakfast on the sunny terrace. We made use of the new swimming pool and our son jumped all the time on the trampoline. There are also some really nice swimming lakes around and some beautiful villages and larger cities (e.g. Limogues and Périgeux) with all kinds of shops. We recommend visiting the wonderful "vide greniers". The nature in this region is simply stunning! Our days ended with a short walk in this calm area. Overall this was one of our most beautiful holidays with by far the most wonderful hosts. When we got home yesterday we instantly booked the next stay there! We say "thank you David and Judy for your extraordinary hospitality and see you soon!" Christian, Anja, Mona and David.
