Aaliyah`s and Amina`s Tropical Retreat - Pine Island St James City Florida

Named after our daughters as this reminds me of paradise in our beautiful Pine Island, St James City oasis. Aaliyah's and Amina's Tropical Retreat. Consisting of four units with a new heated pool in between. Situated on nearly 6 acres to explore with tropical plants, WiFi and much more. So close to shops, restaurants, tropical fruit nursery's, beaches and more. Unit 1 is a ground level, completely renovated condo with a full kitchen, living area, dining room, three bedrooms and two bathrooms. We have a full size washer and dryer in the condo for your convenience as well. The bedrooms have a king bed and the other two bedrooms have a king and queen beds. There is high speed wireless internet throughout as well as smart TV's in all of the rooms. On-site there's a gas bbq grill, fire pit and cornhole to enjoy. Walk around the property, the trails and find our famous peacocks that fly in often. This unit can sleep up to 6 guests. Have a larger group? If available, units 2 or 4 may be added for additional sleeping. On-site care taker if there are ever any issues.

Our experience at this property
Aaliyah and Amina’s Tropical Retreat- Pine Island, St. James City, Fla. Unit 1 To start, we would like like to say that we had a wonderful time during our stay at this property. When we arrived, we could not get into the unit and we found a sign that stated that the pool was closed for maintenance, which was upsetting to us because we selected this property because it had a pool. Given that this property is not on a beach, this was essential to us. When we could not get into the unit, we called the number provided and were told that she would call somebody, but she could not say when someone would come. She did call after about 15 minutes and told us we could enter the unit through the sliding glass doors, which were unlocked. After another 15 minutes, the caretaker arrived, and found that the batteries in the entry keypad were dead. He replaced these and also told us that the pool would be open for us on the following day. He was very nice that day and throughout our stay. The inside of the unit was spacious and very, very comfortable. We did have a problem that the bedroom closet door fell off completely and had to be fixed by the caretaker. In addition, there was a kitchen drawer that would not close completely. The kitchen is nice and spacious and has a huge refrigerator. The outside environment needs some sprucing up. The pool itself is very nice, but the rusty chain-link fence around it is unattractive. Also there are only 3 pool chairs, which is insufficient for the number of guests. Despite these shortcoming we had a truly wonderful time during the 19 night that we stayed.
