"We had a wonderful week staying at this property. It is extremely well situated - just a short walk from a really lovely beach and small town. The property itself is very comfortable. Fifteen of us had plenty of space and room to cook and socialise. I would really recommend it for large groups."

"We visited St Helaire as a first family car trip to France. The travel days were a little stressful but ran so smoothly thanks to French roads being so much easier to drive along than British roads. The apartment was perfect, the views stunning especially at sunset. The sea breeze was cool and refreshing.we don't mind walking but thought that we were a little too far from things to want to walk everywhere. This is the only thing we could find that wasn't perfect and does not mean you can't walk everywhere you need to. We did walk to the beach in SGXV and Sion beach. Bodega bar at the 5 pineax has amazing chips and oysters! We had an amazing time and are likely to return."

"Great location, very quiet and so well equipped. Everything you need, apart from a washing machine. Beds were comfortable and we had no issue. Easy to get to. I was surprised there was no communication as to what to do with the keys on check out day despite sending a text to the owner. We ended up leaving them in the secure box where we found them on arrival. All in all, a very enjoyable part of our holiday"

"On arrival, we were warmly greeted by the housekeeper who showed us around the property. She obviously does a very good job as it was spotless and we immediately felt at home. She made it clear that she would be on call at anytime should we need anything and gave us the perfect start to our holiday - thank you Marjorie for being so lovely! The property was formerly a family home but is now solely used for rental. It had everything we needed from kitchen facilities to bedding and towels (€25 paid on arrival) and everything was clean and worked perfectly. We literally had no problems at all. The garden wraps around the property and was fully enclosed making it perfect for our dog who loved it too!! With a huge supermarket only 800 metres away (exactly - we checked!!) and all the amenities of the town nearby, the location could not have been better. It was peaceful and away from any major roads meaning we didn’t hear anything other than the birds and the trees.. We have stayed in many rental cottages in France and the UK and this was one of the best. We cannot recommend it highly enough - the pictures used to advertise it do not do it justice. It is much nicer in real life!!"
