"We stayed here for one night on our way to Paris from Basel. The grounds are beautiful, the surroundings are peaceful and serene, the chateau is well maintained and very clean. It’s an old building, which comes with some idiosyncrasies but it’s very comfortable overall. Breakfast was excellent. Beaune is close by. "

"Jeremy was very welcoming and conversed easily in English. He told us about the area, it's wine growing history and his own involvement. Arranged lunch for us at a local hotel and breakfast was truly a feast. My granddaughters loved the swimming pool. We will definitely use this hotel again on our way back through France. "The host were a very charming young couple, nothing was too much trouble for them. A very enjoyable three night stay. Both speak good English. The accommodation is in the excellent ecologically converted barn. A good sound build with recycled items of furniture. Very comfortable beds. "We were booked for Aug.29. On aug. 27 I received a message from Chateau de Seurre that there was an error in the payment method and to contact them to avoid cancellation. I called but got their answering machine. I messaged them that I would pay cash if credit card was a problem for them. I got no response. I went to the Chateau on the 28th, the day before my reservation to make sure there was no problem. The gate was locked and had a message saying that they were fully booked. I called again...
