"A comfortable, clean and well presented place to stay in this picturesque area. Ideal for days out visiting the many attractive towns and villages close by. We did not meet Bruno personally and so did not benefit from the advice other reviewers have remarked on. For example, where is there a nearby boulangerie......that opens regularly? For me this is a must in France! This gite suited my wife and I well, but I think four people would find it cramped. The stairs to the (attractive) bedroom are...

"Gîte spacieux et agréable (confort, jardin, cour pour garer les véhicules etc...), merveilleusement situé pour randonner autour de Fresnay-sur-Sarthe (nombreux PR et GR) et dans les alpes mancelles ! En plus, il y a des commerçants locaux qui présentent d'excellents produits ! Bref, nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans la Sarthe !"

"Booked last minute for Le Mans 24H. New accommodation was all very clean and welcoming. Beds were comfy and the shower was brilliant. Fully equipped kitchen and washing machine were nice to have. On street parking outside was safe and plentiful. Short walk over bridge into town for lovely local bakery is well worth doing. Looking forward to staying again!"

"My partner and I stayed for 2 weeks in this lovely little cottage facing the river Sarthe in july 2021 and we absolutely did not want to leave! The most welcoming hosts, the well equipped kitchen, the awesome garden and lots of hiking routes and cute little villages to visit nearby... we loved it! A friend came over for some nice dinners for a few nights, which was no problem at all. Enjoyed it to the max!! Thanks a lot, Hervé and Franck!! À bientôt!"
