"The cottage was a lovely place to stay. The property was very quiet and presented exactly as the listing described. We had everything we required and everything was clean and tidy. The pool area was lovely. There wasnt really anything in the village but the nearest town was only 10 or so minutes away. There was a supermarket and petrol station and a market. "The Hobogite is beautifully presented and the owners supply a generous welcome pack, which is a great help for weary travellers. The exclusive use of the swimming pool is a great plus. The area is tranquil and extremely pretty. We loved staying here- just right for 2 people."

"The gite was wonderful, everthing possible was there for the guests use….torch, matches, cleaning products, extra toilet rolls etc. We were welcomed with the most amazing pack of food products including beer & wine. The bed is super comfortable with additional blankets if needed, the large shower is great as well. The area/local towns were a little too quiet for us but we made the most of it….and it is out of season. "

"Idyllic setting in a tiny village surrounded by farmland. Plenty of walks with very little traffic to worry about. Small town nearby with a couple of restaurants and a supermarket. Historic town of Cognac under an hour away with plenty of shops and bars. The property itself is superb. Very well kitted out with everything that you could possibly need. It’s hard to imagine a more perfect place for a bit of quiet time and a place to relax. Heated pool and a games room with snooker table...
