"This was a two night stopover to allow us to ride around the Cantel region and, in particular, the rim of the volcano (long since gone). The appearance of th hotel upon arrival gives little credit for how comfortable the rooms are and how pleasing the restaurant is. It is little surprise that the hotel is used by tradesmen and appears to be full all the time. Very pleased with our stay and would recommend."

"When I checked in, I was so tired that i dropped my wallet on the way to my room. Thankfully, hotel staff found it intact & knocked on my door 15 minutes later. I'm very grateful to them for literally saving my holiday!"

"A beautiful location with spectacular views. A few additions like a tea towel, some hand soap in the bathroom would have been nice. We found it very difficult to find so a sign on the property could be helpful. Very friendly owner. "

"Beautiful grounds, good breakfast (extra charge). We arrived exactly on time for reception, but no one was there just a note with undecipherable directions to room which was several buildings and 400m away - no map as to location and poor written directions. Also, the Expedia cost was supposed to be $174.90 USD but charged $212.99 USD - $38.09 USD extra for breakfast for 2? Seems a bit high for breakfast!"

"The stunning building has wow factors at every turn. The bedrooms and bathrooms are large, well decorated, and completely individual. The breakfast was good. The staff were very helpful. The location is right in the centre of this beautiful old town that is well worth exploring. I recommend staying here to anyone. "

"A friendly and helpful welcome to the Hotel and soon booked into our room and explained where to park our vehicle once we had unloaded. The hotel has a very traditional feel downstairs, charming. The corridors and the rooms themselves were decorated in a very dark scheme, which even with the lights on was a little difficult to always see well. "Malcolm and Vivian where very welcoming and helpful. The views are amazing and the location is very peaceful. The house is beautiful and quirky, although if you like to cook for yourselves, the kitchen is a little short on utensils. We improvised! "The property setting is beautiful! the interior and exterior is immaculate, spacious and extremely accommodating. Vincente is an excellent host, making sure all of our needs were met. I will say it is helpful to have someone who speaks French, my husband is fluent which helped tremendously since Vincente does not speak a word of English.
