Beautifully renovated, the charming Treetops is a private, open-plan gite on the 1st floor of a traditional stone tobacco-style barn. With a balcony, large swimming pool and sun terraces, Treetops is nestled in a secluded area of the Dordogne countryside. This luxurious gite offers a tranquil setting while being just a short drive from many of the area's major attractions. The accommodation is all on one level and the total floorspace, including balcony, is 46 M². Open all year. Fully centrally heated with wood burning stove for cosy winter evenings. Complimentary Welcome Pack includes bottle of sparkling wine, beer, cheese, eggs, bread, butter, milk. The pool is for the exclusive of the gite. The owners do not use the pool while guests are on site. The gite and its balcony is not overlooked. Now with WiFi!

My stay at Tree Tops exceeded all of my expectations. It was by far the best experience I've had at a VRBO property. The property itself was beautiful, quiet and serene. Over the top gorgeous. The grounds and surrounding countryside were unbelievably picturesque. Very walkable, which I did a few days during my stay. The gite was well appointed, cozy and perfect. Everything a person would want. The staples of eggs, milk, juice, cheese, butter, baguette, candy and champagne were especially appreciated after a long travel experience. Tree Tops was just what I was looking for, and then some. The owner Vincent was a most gracious host. I also had the opportunity to meet his daughter, son-in-law, and their beautiful baby. They were most welcoming and equally kind as well. I was invited for some (very good) wine and lovely conversation on the terrace several times during my two week stay at Les Bruguettes, the main house next door where Vincent lived. Vincent was also helpful in suggesting and securing dinner reservations many evenings at some great restaurants. That was so helpful, as we didn't have a clue on where to go, and what places were open on what days, and the hours of service. My son, and his Fiancé stayed at the Owl Barn gite next door the first week. My friends stayed there the second week. We all had such a wonderful time! Lest I not forget to mention I was also afforded the opportunity of a most enjoyable and fun ride in Vincent's fabulous Porsche! What a highlight! Staying at Tree Tops was an absolute pleasure and delight. Above and beyond. Truly an unforgettable experience I will cherish forever. Thank you for your sincerity, kindness and hospitality Vincent!

Lovely week - lovely weather
Lovely property and Vincent was always on hand if needed. Having lovely weather and the pool to cool down was a huge bonus. Even though the pool is shared with the other property on site the seating areas are separate which gives privacy. Really enjoyed our stay.

Perfect nest in the countryside
Amazing experience. We arrived late at night and our apartment was stocked with chilled champagne and eggs and fruit and milk for breakfast. We loved the ideal pool with lavender and very green and lovely garden. I went running every morning and saw a lovely red fox. Wonderful restaurants in every direction(reserve in advance). Vincent was a wonderful host. Wouldn’t change a thing.

A fabulous gite with an amazing view, perfectly situated in the calm, but not far from all the beaux villages. The gite itself is really comfortable with a charming interior, fully equipped with a great welcome package. The pool is simply beautiful and tranquil, surrounded by planted borders giving a feeling of calm and seclusion. Vincent is an amazing host, really kind and helpful, especially when our flight back home was cancelled; it was a pleasure to have met him and we certainly intend to return. I would thoroughly recommend a visit.

Just what we needed.
My husband and I had a wonderful time in Tree Tops apartment. The owner, Vincent is friendly and welcoming and most helpful with holiday tips and advice. The views from the property are stunning and an evening spent on the balcony with a glass of Bergerac is a sheer delight. It was very hot when we arrived so the swimming pool was a slice of heaven. Plenty to do and see in the area. Recommend taking a canoe down the river and a trip into Sarlat.

We spent a wonderful week in the 2-person gite, Cime des Arbes (Treetops). What a great place to use as home base when exploring Dordogne. Sites and towns we were interested in visiting were a scenic drive on country roads, and mornings and evenings were spent getting away from it all on the beautiful property Vincent has the gite located on. Describing the Treetops gite has to start with the view. The long range, pastoral scene that can be taken in from the deck and out the large windows is even better than the picture in the listing. The gite is perfectly laid out for 2 people. Nicely appointed and decorated with rustic charm. The bed was quite comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with all equipment we needed for cooking. The weather got hot on several of the days we were there, so we also got a chance to enjoy a swim in the pool. Sitting around the pool was also a pleasure, as Vincent has created an interesting landscape design in the pool area and added comfortable outdoor furniture. Vincent was a great host. He welcomed us and showed us around the gite and the property, and was friendly and helpful with any questions we had. We highly recommend a stay at Treetops. Curt & Pat Valdosta, GA USA

We have just returned from a wonderful week in TreeTops. The gite was beautiful and pictures just don't do the scenery justice! The facilities were everything you would need- we cooked meals multiple times with ease. Vincent and Maria were incredibly welcoming and helpful and promptly answered any queries we had which came up. The pool and grounds are also very well maintained. We hope to return at some point in the future to this beautiful part of the Dordogne.

Delightful and well-appointed gite.
We were thrilled to be staying at this delightful gite, run so superbly by Vincent and Maria. The welcome pack including sparkling wine was everything we needed on arrival. The gite is beautifully equipped and has a superb balcony terrace for eating and taking in the wonderful view. The swimming pool is cleverly arranged with private sitting and sun-bathing areas, and the landscaped grounds are full of hidden areas to relax in. We certainly aim to return.

Peace and quiet at Tree tops.
A perfect place to enjoy a peaceful break either by the pool during the day or enjoying a meal with glass of wine, or two, listening to the owls from the balcony on a warm summer evening. Maria and Vincent are the perfect hosts providing a good welcome pack to start you off. Plenty to see and do in the local area in Sarlat and Domme or relaxing on the river viewing the castles and Kingfishers.

Beuatiful stay in treetops that was even nicer than the pictures.Room had everything and a view that was outstanding. We generally eat out when on holiday but sitting on the balcony on a warm evening haveing your meal was so peacful and relaxing we actually cooked and ate in just as much Vjncent and Maria are lovely and will help with anything you need but also respect your privacy as you want it .The pool has been set up so both Barn rooms have there own private area with bushes and lavender as barriers which is a nice touch and it does make it feel you are on yiur own .We had lovely weather and i would reccomend the area as there is so much to see and would definetly recommend tree tops as a place to stay Andy and Diane

This has been the most relaxing holiday we have ever had, the property and view make you want to do nothing. The pool area is amazing and Maria and Vincent will do anything to make your stay memorable, including recommending and booking tables for you at local restaurants. Beautiful and totally relaxing
Vince and Maria were wonderful hosts and their luxury gite was amazing and a welcome surprise. They both made us feel at home, and were there when we needed advice and left us to enjoy the surroundings with the fabulous pool. The area is exceptional with so many places of interest to visit. The views from the balcony were brilliant, with hot air balloons passing overhead which were beautiful and made for a great area to chill and enjoy a glass of wine or a beer... one week wasn't enough so we will be back. The garden was very relaxing with hammocks for chilling, table tennis and a badminton net, great for anyone with kids. We would highly recommend - you won't be disappointed...

Perfect relaxation and warm welcome
Our hosts were most welcoming and helped greatly with our questions regarding where to visit, park, etc. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The fresh eggs, bacon and other goodies they provided in the barn were a lovely touch. Everything was spotless in the barn and the private areas around the sparkling pool had been given a great deal of consideration for guests. We loved it so much we would like to revisit - next time for 2 weeks.

A little piece of paradise
What a beautiful place it really is a little piece of paradise. It was recommended to us by close friends and it exceeded our expectations. We were greeted by vincent and Maria who are the most lovable people you could meet. Our Gite was gorgeous and immaculate and Maria bless her had made us a lasagne as we were arriving late and it was our honeymoon and it was the best lasagne i have ever had. Nothing was to much trouble and it was a pleasure to meet such lovely people. We cant wait to go back as it has everything from the peace and tranquility and loved chatting to Vincent and Maria. Best stay on our holiday in SW France
We are a couple from Australia. We spent 3 weeks touring SW France in October this year, with one week staying at Les Brugettes at St Cybranet in the Treetops gite. First the location - close to several small villages with restaurants and shops, and amidst the spectacular villages of Domme, Beynac and La Rogue - Gageac. A short drive to famed Sarlat and all the prehistoric sites along the Vizere valley including Lascaux 2 and Font de Gaume cave paintings. The gite itself was terrific. Spacious, good bed, modern bathroom kitchen, all very clean and well thought out. Wood stove for chilly nights if required but has good hot water and heating radiators including towel rack. Outstanding view from the balcony (and from the bed!) of the farms and countryside on the other side of the valley. A very lovely welcoming bottle of champagne, baguette, bacon and eggs! Hosts Vince and Maria were really helpful giving recommendations for restaurants and assisting with tourist queries,and just being a genuinely friendly couple. We would not hesitate to recommend this gite and we hope to re-visit in the near future!

Lovely Stay
A really lovely place - arguably even nicer in reality than the photos. We particularly liked the en-suite which reminded us of our honeymoon in the Maldives. Welcome pack / wider provisions v generous and appreciated. Extremely welcoming and helpful hosts - exceeded what you'd typically expect. Location is better than initially realised - excellent base for exploring a really nice part of the Dordogne. Very hot while we were there but managed to sleep due to combination of a fan and keeping windows / doors open - you feel perfectly safe. Adjoining main property and 2nd Gite are closer than anticipated however there's a really nice balance between privacy and having occasional conversation. Will definitely return.
