"The hotel is situated on a one way road into the main town which is wonderful to walk in a few mins. However it’s also super noisy through the night with cars and people walking past. Public parking is right outside hotel. It was free at this time of year, but very very busy. But you can book a separate car parking with hotel. "Lovely and clean, good choice at breakfast. A bit tight around the foot of the bed but that was a minor niggle and the only one. Concierge was very helpful. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again! "

"La Villa des Consuls is located in the heart of old Sarlat, with all the amenities that entails. The staff is nice and helpful, putting us in touch with a great guide and setting up our taxis to and from the rail station. Breakfast is tasty and reasonably priced, but above all, our two bedroom room was spacious, comfortable, and beautiful. It also included a usable kitchen and a small balcony overlooking the main commercial street. Despite that, it was quiet. I highly recommend this hotel."
