The town of Uzes is only a few minutes walk away from the house so it was very convenient for all the bars and restaurants. Don’t miss the huge Saturday market, best in the area. "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at le Grand DoMeynes, it really is a gorgeous house, spacious enough for a big group. We had some lovely meals sitting around the huge dining room table. It’s very rustic which you must bear in mind if you require fully restored modern bathrooms. We coped well without Air Con, the house had lots of fans although the first night was extremely hot! Meynes is right on the voie vert between Beaucaire and Le Pont du Gard and we cycled between both- gorgeous countryside!...

"Delightful historic house set in beautiful grounds with very spacious accommodation. 2 minutes to the boulangerie! 5 minutes walk to Le Table D'Amis Chez Richard & Le Papareil. Both excellent restaurants & very friendly. The family would all love to return to this amazing house!"

"Really amazing location right in the heart of Aigues-Mortes. The pool was really fun for our kids (note it is deep, but there were pool noodles they could use)! The house is decorated in an interesting way. The host went out of his way to find us a crib to use so that we didn’t need to bring one. Great experience overall."

"The little house is absolutely beautiful and the surrounding property is beautiful and completely quiet. Only sounds are from the birds and the two donkeys, who tell you that they wouldn't mind some carrots now and then:-) Monique and her husband are perfect hosts and make you feel very welcome.
