"Nobody there - place was deserted despite advising we would be arriving around 8pm having driven to Bordeaux from London. Nobody answered my calls - unbelievable. Stuck in the dark in the middle of nowhere. Hotels.com found us another room so we checked in after 10pm. Totally exhausted and frustrated. "This was our second visit to this hotel. Previously we came in a summer ,but this visit was on the last day of Bordeaux Xmas market. The hotel is situated on the tram line which you can buy tickets at the machine or on the app. To get into centre takes about ten mins. Across from hotel is the river which you can walk into Bordeaux with lots of restaurants and shops. A lot shut in the winter, but definitely worth a nice walk.
