"Stayed in this hotel a couple of times on our way driving for Spain from the UK. Excellent quality rooms, well appointed public spaces and the staff are friendly and very helpful"

"Perfect location near the Chateau, restaurants and town. Friendly and helpful staff. Old style but clean and comfortable. Great value for money. Good public car park 3 euros a day close to the hotel. "

"Hotel had nice upgrades to common space w/ indoor pool/spa and sauna. Breakfast area was nice, but we didn't have breakfast any of the mornings. Rooms are tiny, but apparently standard for France. Hotel is in a weird industrial area, but quiet. Eery at night, but seemingly safe and totally fine. Sleepy town. "

"Realy enjoyed my stay, although I feel it's more like 2.5 stars. Excellent location, plenty of dining options in a very close proximity, helpful staff, very clean rooms, secure gated parking, great breakfast options. If the hotel added the laundry room to the facilities, it would be golden. "

"A seulement 2H de Bordeaux, nous avons séjourné à 15 dans un endroit très bien equipe, avec du cachet. Piscine spa, billard, baby foot, pétanque, Ping pong.. tout était là pour passer de supers moments entre amis. Jean - Marc le propriétaire fait partie de la magie de ce lieu. Accueillant, touchant, un grand cœur ! Merci pour ce séjour inoubliable loin de tout !!! On reviendra c’est sur !"

"Nice brand new hotel , modern. Secure parking. Easy walk to restaurants. Breakfast was fine more warm food would have been better. Dog friendly yes but why not post the extra fee on the site ?"

"Mark and Gill were super hosts from start to finish. The facilities at the property were outstanding - fabulous heated swimming pool; well equipped games room; comfortable, spacious, well appointed accommodation; provision of bicycles and other sports equipment; large garden set in a peaceful, rural, location. Near to cycle path, tennis court and interesting towns. It was perfect for our family who all had a wonderful stay. Highly recommended "

"A bit outdated but otherwise great place to stay: one of the most comfortable mattresses I have ever slept on, spacious room, big soft towels and friendly staff. Highly recommend!"

"Booked for 3 nights. Left after 2 as soon as we could get booked in elsewhere. I understand it’s “budget” but the rooms are more like prison sells. The bathroom was filthy, mould all around the edges, brown splats up the door. Door was falling apart at the bottom. It was 25° when we stayed and the aircon wasn’t working. It was unbearable in the room. We kept trying to catch someone on reception and every time we went down no one was around. If you are booking a family room with bunk...

"Don't bother to book if you can not speak French. You must also ring to confirm or they will NOT let you in as there is no reception. There are also no refunds a very bad service. I can not rate the rest of the hotel as never saw it."

"We had a fantastic holiday! Our hosts were attentive, accommodating and engaged us in the local community. After a few hours we felt very much relaxed, welcomed and at home! It was brilliant swimmming everyday in the pool and the numerous sitting areas allowed you shade and/or panoramic sun! Our children loved the little river at the end of the lane and were mezmorised by the Dragonflies and lizards. The BBQ was brilliant and the local restaurants were fab! "We have stayed at this hotel on several occasions, it is very basic but suits our needs as an overnight stop with a dog. Last night we arrived and found the toilet seat cracked through and the sink cracked, the shower sealant was mouldy. I informed the reception about the toilet seat and was told there was no other rooms available and she thanked me for telling her. This morning at breakfast I gave my dog a piece of my paid for baguette and a piece of cheese, the gentleman on reception came into the breakfast room and informed me the food was for humans and not dogs! There was a French man with his dog in the breakfast room, he gave his dog food with no problem. We will not be staying here again and I would not recommend this hotel based onmy latest experience, I felt extremely threatened by the attitude of the male receptionist and his manner towards me. "

Nice garden and outdoor

"The property has very nice garden, swimming pool and tennis yard. The house however requires reconstruction, especially bathrooms (only one of three is OK to use) and kitchen (very small and difficult to manage cooking for 8 people). There are only 8 proper beds, not 14 as mentioned in the ad. In neighborhood are very noisy dogs, day and night."
