Great location and property
Luc was a lovely host. Great communication. The house was ideally positioned for the beach with its own private gate and parking. Easy to explore Normandy and the museums. Local bike hire was good to access the many good cycle paths in the area. The bakery opposite was lovely with baguettes croissants and very good quiche. We enjoyed our stay very much.

D-Day beaches
Stayed to view the historical sites. Location was excellent for this. Property was well equipped and Luc was very good to deal with. Only real issue is the lack of parking. It's a beach town so finding a spot is rather difficult.

Charming Cottage
My daughter and I were visiting the Normandy area to see all the WWII areas and this was a perfect base for that! We were there in early May so it wasn’t beach weather but there is direct beach access and we did go explore. Luc was a great host who met us at the door, got us a parking spot, and showed us around the cottage. I just regret that we didn’t book for a longer stay.

A perfect stay
We had such a great stay at Luc’s lovely cottage. Location was perfect and the cottage was very well equipped and clean. We all had such good sleep on really comfy beds. We would happily stay again and recommend to others as a great place to stay. St Aubin Sur Mer is a lovely seaside town perfectly located for exploring the WW2 historical sites.

Week at St Aubin
Very well appointed property, beautifully clean and well equipped. Good central position and good boulangerie opposite. The only draw back was the toilet being downstairs off the kitchen. There was a very good bathroom upstairs, but no toilet. Thank you, Luc, for a very enjoyable stay. Diana

Wonderful Family Trip
My family of 4 (we have 2 teens) stayed 3 nights in this beautiful home and loved it. The owner was so nice! He greeted us when we arrived and gave us a tour of the home. We loved the historic charm! We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We were able to park in the back in a private garage area. We loved the private path that led directly to the beach. In the mornings we walked across the street to grab fresh pastries from the bakery. At night we slept with the windows opened and the street was SO quiet. We walked to several very good restaurants on the beach. It was close to proximity to all the landing beaches and the American cemetery. (We took a 9 hour private tour while we were there.) I would definitely recommend this property!

Lovely seaside house, we were sad to leave!!
Luc-Francoise was wonderful & communicative as our host, we had a sublime few days in St. Aubin-sur-Mer. Having the boulangerie/patisserie across the street - above and beyond!! We would return from there back to the front porch for breakfast and vacation reading. Only one toilet to share among the four of us, but that’s not a big deal. Short walk to the beach. Water still a bit chilly for swimming in mid-June, fyi (but the kids went in). The house is perfect, quiet street, wish we could have stayed longer. Merci pour tout, Luc-Francoise!!!

Ideal for 3 beaches
Lovely little cottage just set back from Juno Beach. Ideal location to cover the areas from Pegasus to Arromanches and Bayeux. Luc was very welcoming. Highly recommend.

Perfect setting to explore Normandy history
Luc quickly responded to my queries. The house was very clean with all the necessary amenities within walking distance. Free on street parking, a few evenings it was a 5 minute walk to house from the space we found.

Fantastic property in an amazing location
We absolutely LOVED this house and our stay in St Aubin-sur-mer! It is beautifully laid out and has everything you need for your stay. The access to the beach from the back of the property was a wonderful surprise, the front courtyard was a gorgeous suntrap, and the boulangerie literally the other side of the street had the most fantastic pastries to start our day! Host wonderful. House wonderful. We have stayed in a lot of 'holiday houses' over the years, and are struggling to think of any we like more than this one! We very much hope to return. Thank you, Luc .... enjoy the rest of the summer :)

A Real Gem
We just loved Luc's property! The decor and set up was complete and perfect. Beds were comfortable, excellent shower, basic stocked, and Luc also left treats. Easy 4 minute walk to the beach. Really enjoyed our stay and would stay again! Thank you Luc.

We wanted to stay at a place close to the landing beaches and this was the perfect place.Totally redone charming house with all the amenities that you need.Fresh bread from the bakery across the street and a number of restaurants within walking distance. Great host!Five stars and no complaints.

A jewel in the crown
A beautifully maintained home of excellent standards. Luc was incredibly helpful and on call for any minor worries we had, which were all resolved very quickly. He greeted us with local apple biscuits and a bottle of cider, what a super way to be greeted. The sun was shining on our trip which allowed for lovely long walks along the beach. I cannot rate this property or owner any more highly. Until next time Luc!

This is an amazing place to stay. The location is perfect for exploring Normandy and the WWII beaches. The town of St. Aubin-sur-Mer has everything you could want and need for a relaxing stay; there is even a boulangerie right across the street.. Luc is a most welcoming host and we were greeted with a bottle of cider and Apple biscuits. The property is extremely clean, wonderfully decorated and fully equipped for a long-term stay. The beach is two blocks away and the front terrace is the perfect spot for morning coffee or your evening meal. I highly recommend this property and hope to return for a longer stay.

Trés bon séjour!
Nous avons été accueillis très chaleureusement par le proprietaire avec une bouteille de cidre et des biscuits. La maison est propre, moderne et la cuisine dispose de tout ce dont on a besoin. Pour quatre adultes, c'est peut-être un peu juste, mais c'est quand même tout à fait faisable. L'emplacement avec un accès privé à la plage (3 minutes à pied), la boulangerie juste en face et un petit supermarché à 10 minutes à pied, est très bien. On peut garer sa voiture dans la rue ou sur un parking privé situé un peu derrière la maison. Des chaises plus confortables sur la terrasse auraient encore amélioré l'ensemble. Nous avons passé une très belle semaine et recommandons sans hésiter cette maison !

Perfekte Unterkunft
Das Haus ist sehr schön und hat einen tollen Charme. Wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Die Ausstattung ist völlig ausreichend. Die Lage ist spitze! Nur wenige Meter zum Meer, zu Restaurants, Bäckerei direkt gegenüber und auch Metzger, Markt und Supermarkt sind zu Fuß zu erreichen. Luc hat uns sehr nett empfangen und der Kontakt war sehr gut. Kann die Unterkunft nur empfehlen!
