"Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour en famille au gîte de l’Epicerie de la Madeleine.La maison est très jolie et pleine de charme et surtout elle reste fraîche même en cas de forte chaleur.Tout est fonctionnel et pratique, nous avons très vite trouvé nos marques. "Unfortunately our stay at the priory did not meet our expectations. I had seen the house listed on another site and it sounded incredible. Sadly it feels like this house is at the end of its life. It is quite run down in places and parts of it are dirty and unsafe. Room fans covered in dust. Plug sockets unattached to walls. "Jerome and his wife live at the property and are very helpful. The pictures are very accurate. One thing of note is to mention there are stairs to get up to the rental. Jerome also has a small restaurant on premise and will prepare a meal for you or get you very tasty bottles of wine for an additional fee (which is very reasonable). "Grande maison au calme, bien équipée, en pleine campagne. Nombreux jeux et livres pour enfants. Pas de commerces à proximité. A noter : la cinquième chambre est une sorte d’alcôve vitrée avec un petit lit peu confortable. La chambre double du rez de chaussée est très humide. Escaliers très droits. Beaucoup d’araignées et insectes. Le pisciniste n’a pas réussi à clarifier l’eau de la piscine malgré 3 passages pendant le séjour."
