The village of St Andre de Vézines is located in the heart of Black Causse, surrounded by the Tarn gorges to the west, the Dourbie gorges south and Jonte north, dominated by the Cévennes bar at the is .
The town is located in the Regional Natural Park of Grands Causses and also recently in the heart of the site a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The GR 62 A crosses and the Botanical Trail René PICAL created from the hamlet of Montmejan, starting point of the loop, allows you to discover the flora from an ancient medieval village partially restored.
Your hostess offers rides once a week to discover the flora and built heritage and unbuilt Black Causse.
It is possible to go mountain biking thanks to the slopes that have been set up as well as the TRAIL circuits recently marked on the Causse Noir, which became the heart of the Templar race which takes place in October

If you fancy a change of scenery, there are several beautiful and free sites located in the surrounding area: Montméjean, Rajol, Hermitage St Michel and Roquesaltes will make you savor the wild beauty of the Causse Noir!

However, you can easily get to other famous attractions such as the Millau Viaduct or the Cave of Dargilan or Mount Aigoual! ....

Appartement agréable et bien situé sur le causse noir
L'appartement est très propre, pratique et bien équipé. Il est situé dans un village du causse noir, point de départ de nombreuses randonnées. On est proche en voiture des gorges du Tarn, du Larzac et de Millau. La propriétaire, Mme Cartayrade, est très sympathique et met à disposition une documentation riche sur les lieux à visiter dans le secteur (cartes, flyers, livres...). Nous y avons passé de très bonnes vacances. .

L'appartement correspondait vraiment à l'annonce dans les moindres détails. excellent état , petite cour extèrieure avec barbecue......très joli village avec des gens forts sympatiques. beaucoup de choses à faire aux alentours , une semaine n'a pas suffit : canoe , vélo rail , reptilarium , couvertoirade....bref on ne s'ennuie pas!!! Le seul hic c'est le manque de commerce mais le sachant dès le début on prévoit et ensuite il y a a une douzaine de kms un village lanuéjols avec épicerie... bref une belle semaine , merci aux propriétaires
