"The house and surroundings are fine, and we enjoyed the opportunity to swim and play in the river and walk in the mountains. The market in the next village of Sainte Croix is fun. The house was very clean. The bedrooms are OK, the downstairs room could do with some comfortable furniture. Tennis court and swimming pool meant the teenagers were entertained and happy, whilst being in the heart of the Ardeche for river swimming and canoeing! "This villa is very well equipped. Comfortable beds. Spacious rooms.Not always possible to find an en suite on the ground floor for a 92 year old! Quiet location. Beautiful scenery. The only slight annoyance, no towels, so come prepared! Luckily our friends living nearby provided us with them!
