"A real local ,for locals & visitors friendly & relaxed , the staff professional & nothing too much trouble. We dined at restaurant a varied menu with excellent choices . A bonus was the breakfast, the sausages were locally sourced , best we have ever eaten . Definitely recommend the Crown hotel "

"The room at Pig Shed Motel was clean and a good size with tea and coffee making facilities. It took a little bit of finding (I went to the wrong place initially!) but it is reasonably well sign posted though no directions given beforehand. I sent a couple of messages in the days before the booking through hotel.com but had no reply. Also I didn't see the text with the door code number, but Beccy in the George and Dragon pub was able to help me by supplying a door key. While this was my error it would have been nice to know in advance what the procedure was.. Having the pub next door for an evening meal was great after a days travelling. The room was cosy and the beds comfortable and we enjoyed our short stay.."

"The room was a very good size, clean and had coffee, tea and chocolate making facilities. We had everything we needed in the room. The food was nice and the service was good. It did have golf and leisure services but we didn’t use any of that. Would definitely recommend. "

"I was not expecting this stay to be as good as it was. Booked it last-minute, due to playing a gig in the local area. Well, it was a great find! From the moment I walked in, the landlord (and the locals!) gave a warm welcome. A fantastic location for a quaint inn with rooms. The room was spacious, with a very comfortable bed, tea/coffee facilities, dressing table, shower gels et cetera. Such a lovely room, too! Breakfast in the morning was top-notch, too. I was sat on my own and the landlord made the effort to come over for a chat. Genuinely hospitable fella. Really enjoyed my stay!"

"Stayed for a night at the Honingham Buck, easy check in, nice room and friendly staff. Took advantage of the cosy pub which has a nice atmosphere though didn’t have a meal in the restaurant as arrived too late. The breakfast was good, we would stay there again. "
