"This is a lovely property and large old stone house. The family that runs it is very accommodating and kind. The room was small but clean and well stocked. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was large. A comprehensive breakfast was included as was use of the fridge in the kitchen. It is a bit of a drive to reach the property but easy to follow on a nav system. The WIFI didn’t work and we had to ask to have the heating enabled but still very much worth the stay. "

"This is a lovely rural property that provided us the retreat that we needed. We had the “Moucho” room which had a nice balcony and skylight over the bed. We had great meals in their restaurant and the pool area looked very inviting but the rainy day prevented us from using it. We appreciate how friendly and welcoming they were with us despite our very limited Spanish skills! "

"After a long cold and rainy day on the Camino, Manuel picked us up in town. This was a life saver as we were so wet and cold from the walk. Upon arrival there was a welcoming fire and coffee and cookies. We felt right at home. We were the only guest so we were able to enjoy the family room by the fire all evening. "This place is a combination of a hostel and a hotel. Can’t rate the hostel even though I am sure that it is good. But the hotel - two penthouse suites - is a marvelous place.
