"Our stay at Sabi star chalets not what we expected.The toilets and bathrooms need upgrading.Towels not changed everyday. Otherwise clean and everything else we needed was there. Rooms are not soundproof.Conversations from adjoining chalet can be heard. There was a couple next door that argued and fought the entire night.Room 18.My family was in room 17 and hadnt slept entire night. Altho security did respond when called the noise carried on.Fortunately thay left next day. Need to commend...

"This place is just average. Not a lot to talk about. Hotel condition is just so-so. It says 24 hour service. And it says staff will be on-site from 5AM. But when I tried to leave property at about 5:40AM, the gate was locked. I have to wait for some time and someone came to unlock the gate. It is a budget hotel. "

"Really nice hostes who provide an excellent room with an extreme good bed and a nice bathroom. Be aware that you don't have you own entrance. If this is not an issue, just book right away. From you balcony you have a great view to the woods and a waterfall in the distance. Perfect if you will go to the panorama Route. Just outside the town of Sabie. "Arrived at 5pm, reception shut but manager promptly arrived. It was out of season so no food facilities on site. Had to drive to Hazyview 10 miles away for nearest restaurant. Chalets well appointed but chilly at night with no obvious heating. Beautiful location with river on doorstep and birds including kingfishers. Quite Isolated, set back from road and really secluded but security guard in evidence and security gate."

"We arrived at the resort just after 5pm and was handed our keys with a map of where our unit was and a map of the various sites in the area. We noticed the shop was well stocked. When we got to our cabana, the unit was very clean, with a chocolate for each of us, some rusks and tea/coffee packs. The resort is very tranquil. It is close to every site in the lowveld. "

"The cleaning at this property is done superficially. They need to do a deep clean as there is dirt in the corners, smell from the sheets and blanket, dust on applicances and slime in the kettle. There was a service door to the bathroom which isn't itself a problem, but I could smell cigarette smoke coming through every so often in the morning."
