"I stayed at the Family room (2 bedrooms), ample space for all. We got the mountain view. Fantastic view during clear sky especially in the morning. About 5 mins walk to Moana. We arrived 6am and the staff allowed us to use the washroom to freshen up and leave our luggage at the reception counter. ..."

We highly recommend a trip to Sa Pa and to the Sapa Clay House. We went in late September and the rice fields were just harvested. The weather was great but we would recommend maybe late August or early September to see the rice fields.

Get a local guide from tubudd.com. Inexpensive and amazing. Hike the mountain and spend the money to take the cable car to the top. A lifetime experience. Lots to see up there...temples, big Buddha, amazing views, bring a jacket....
