The large southerly and easterly facing garden means guests can enjoy sunny weather all day long, and in the distance the impressive Quarr Abbey, a Benedictine monastery, can be seen.
The small quaint village of Binstead lies just 1 mile away, whilst Ryde the islands largest town is only 2 miles, offering a large selection of restaurants, pubs, marina and a pier, where the high speed passenger ferry to Portsmouth is located. The long stretch of beach also boasts many cafés, a play area and ten pin bowling. There are many other places of interest to visit on the island, such as Queen Victoria’s home, Osborne House, the Blackgang Chine, Appeley Park and Carisbrooke Castle. The island is popular with walkers and cyclists alike, with its many footpaths and cycle ways passing through pretty villages. Beach 1 mile. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile.
