"Stayed two nights with family. Everything was clean and we had tea coffee in the room. The only strange thing was that the toilet was separate to the shower and sink so you had to go to the toilet then come out and wash your hands in the shower room. I don't know how this arrangement would suit anyone, are they expecting people not to wash their hands after using the toilet? Didn't expect this from novotel but otherwise we had an amazing stay. There's ample parking on site, you do have to pay extra for it though. It's close to transport links and not far from any of the restaurants and sites we went to. It was absolutely freezing with heavy fog the whole time we were there but the room was always cosy and hot water available, no issues. We didn't eat anything at the hotel so cannot comment on it but the dining and reception areas downstairs have very nice decor and ambience. Check in and check out was a breeze and all staff were very helpful and professional. Would highly recommend and will definitely stay again if I visit Bern again. "

"Very clean hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good quality continental breakfast (the same for all days but that really wasn’t a problem). About a three minute walk from the Victoriaplatz tram stop but it’s only a 20 minute walk into the centre of Bern if you’re feeling energetic. Get the tram back though as it’s uphill !! Alternately it’s a ten minute walk to the Rosengarten for that perfect view of Bern. The room was immaculate but could be a little bigger - but what do you expect from a capital city centre hotel? If you’re looking for a slightly cheaper alternative to being right in the centre then this is throughly recommended. "

"The welcome was lovely, the gentleman on reception was friendly and even took time to tell us where we should visit in the city, and a walking route that offers the most amazing views. The room was lovely and had everything we could want for our one night stay. The balcony off the room was lovely and a great place to sit to enjoy a cup of coffee. "
