Some of the best food we've had in Germany. Lots of nice walking paths - along the canal, beach area, to local ruins of a monastery. You can reach the innercity of Greifswald by bus - about 25 minutes away."

Sure, there will be improvements to make in the future, but the fledgling owners have hit the ground running and already set their standards high! The imposing Schloss is set in beautiful grounds and the rooms are clean and well maintained. Ideal for simply relaxing or as a base to explore the surrounding places and nature, but not much around the immediate area, so transport is vital! The bistro...

"This hotel is slightly odd in the layout in that two rooms share one bathroom, but only if the hotel is busy or if you book 2 rooms. Otherwise, for the money this is a great hotel. It's comfortable, clean, has balconies which look over a central courtyard, has breakfast included in the price and has a lidl just 5minutes walk away if you fancy something extra to eat. "
