"We really enjoyed our stay in Lamoura. The property is beautifully decorated and well appointed and there was a lot to do in the area, including running, cycling and swimming. The large garage was invaluable on rainy days for entertaining the kids and drying washing. My only gripe was the lack of transparency about linen hire, cleaning charges and the need for a 500 euro deposit, neither of which were mentioned in the listing, meaning I didn't bring a cheque book and had to sort it all out...

"We had a lovely stay. The chalet was sparkling clean and beautifully decorated. Comfy bed and beautiful view from the bedroom window. The hosts are really friendly and nice and it was a good central area to do day trips to places like Annecy and Charmonix. Thankyou for a lovely holiday :)"

"Great cozy cabin with all the ammenities. Fireplace more than enough to to heat the entire place for the day. Great closed years for pets and plenty of parking. Nearby store has the basics, St Claude a short car ride for anything else. Children's play area across the street. Would recommend to anyone looking to get outside the city and enjoy the mountains."

"Our stay was more than perfect! The property owner was amazing and made us feel right at home. We are a family of three and felt like we fit just fine. The hospitality from the property owner was out of this world and we could not have imagined staying with anyone else. This property sits back on a beautiful mountain ridge with easy access to shops and restaurants on foot. Pictures do not do the view justice. This will not be the last time we stay, for sure!"

"We shared this chalet with another couple. It was very comfortable. The wood burning stove heats the house nicely. Modern kitchen and well equipped. It would have been nice to have a few essentials like salt, pepper and cooking oil available. We had some problems getting the TV to work and Mme Bouvier and her family helped us to get it working. Mme. Bouvier was very responsive to any questions we had and provided us with information on the area."
